The Bellagio Hotel & Casino brings the magic of Cirque du Soleil – ‘O’ center stage to captivate audiences like no other Cirque du Soleil production you’ve ever seen. The stage for this show is massive 1.5 million gallon pool/tank of water that is 25 feet deep and features 7 hydraulic lifts that transform the pool from 25 feet deep completely dry land in a matter of moments without the first wave.

Part of the theme of ‘O’ is opposites. Within seconds of the show beginning, the backdrop will go from black to white and back again. The audience is taken on a journey that flows from baptism to boat rides, to displays of synchronized swimming, ballet, and acrobatics. There are also a few clowns that attempt to stay dry under an umbrella filled with holes, as they weave their way through the audience before the show begins.

Cirque du Soleil – ‘O’ is made up of 85 performers and 150 stage hands who contain greatly imaginative, yet seemingly impossible feats. The combination of infinitely flowing movement from the performers during the show creates an ever-evolving work of art accented by lighting, special effects, and a soundtrack performed by an ensemble of live musicians and singers.

Tickets prices for ‘O’ range from $93.50 to $160. Cirque du Soleil – ‘O’ performs twice nightly at 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Wednesday through Sundays. Children under the age of 5 are not permitted into the ‘O’ Theater and guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
