The Blue Man Group is outrageously creative, funny, and exciting performance art that will awe any audience. They perform throughout the year at the Venetian in Las Vegas in the 1,760-seat theater that was built just for their show. They have been known to leave their audiences breathless and in a heightened, euphoric state of mind.
The Blue Man Group is best known for their theatrical shows that incorporate musice, multimedia, and comedy to create a form of entertainment like you have never seen before. The party atmosphere and happy vibe is addictive, leaving patrons hungry for more.
This is a multi-generational show that is great for all ages; however, children under three years of age are not recommended because of loud noises and other dramatic effects. The show runs about 1 hour and 45 minutes without intermission. A full bar and concession stand is located in the lobby of the theater.
The Blue Man Theater is on the Casino Level of the Venetian between the Palazzo Hotel and Restaurant Row. Just go down the escalators from St. Mark’s Square. You will find the theater nearby the Sands Convention Center and meeting rooms. For driving patrons, self-parking is available for free at both the Venetian and the Palazzo. Valet parking is available as well.
For tickets and show times call (800) BLUEMAN. The Blue Man Group Suite Show Package is also available for $229 per night.
On most days there are two performances at 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Some days feature an additional 4:00 p.m. showing. Discounts of 30% off are sometimes available on 10:00 p.m. showings.
Blue Man Group had a fun show, and I’m glad I saw them, but it’s not something I would ever do again and probably wouldn’t recommend as a “must see” to anyone. The tickets were originally priced at $150, which is just insane. Luckily I got mine for $60 a piece. The show was fun, the music was good, it had some nice humor to it but I wouldn’t call it hilarious. There were a few lulls in the entertainment. I did love the part where the toilet paper fell from the ceiling all over the audience, that was the funniest part. Overall I wouldn’t recommend, definitely not at full price.
Boring and one dimensional

I would only recommend the BMG show if you’re bringing kids. A lot of the comedy is very basic, kid level stuff that they would really enjoy. For adults, however, it’s really not worth it. There are way more entertaining things you could be spending your money on in Vegas.

I was stunned by how lame the Blue Man Group show was. Watching a 2-minute skit on TV might seem funny, but watching them do the same boring, pantomime stuff for a long period of time got so annoying that I actually walked out on the show. I thought it was going to get better when they asked for a volunteer from the audience, but that turned out to be a member of the act that was planted in the audience. The comedy is so lame only small children would find it amusing. Don’t waste your money on this show.
Good thing they are blue

The only thing that gives this show any level of entertainment what so ever is the fact that they are painted blue. We brought the kids with us, 9 and 14, and even they found it relatively boring. My husband laughed a few times, but maybe I would have too if I had drank three cocktails before the show like he did ;) BMG is a waste of time…
Great Fun for adults and kids both...a rarity IMHO!!

Back when my wife and I were dating, when BMG first came on the scene, we saw them perform live in New York. We loved it! Now we have two children, 9 and 12, and wanted them to see it too. I do think the show was better years ago, but it was still funny and the kids had a great time. I believe this is one of the best family attraction in Vegas. It is fun for the kids and fun for the adults, which is a scarce find in this city. Plus we got to take pictures with the blue men in the lobby after the show! Get your tickets at one of the discount booths or online Vegas guides, they are much cheaper. We paid $65 each.
