Staff Review Of Venetian

The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino is one of the most mesmerizing properties in Vegas and recipient of the AAA Five-Diamond Award. The 36-floor tower hotel features an array of attraction and a quarter-mile Grand Canal that runs along the indoor mall, complete with Gondola rides. With 4,027 rooms, there's plenty of room for everyone. The Venetian is conveniently connected to the Sands Expo and the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Venetian is the most strategically placed property on the Strip. Everything is accessible when you stay at this hotel.

The Venetian Las Vegas Resort-Hotel-Casino is an all-suites hotel, and there's nothing standard about these accommodations. This hotel is for those who want to Vegas right. The most basic of suites is all about luxury, and you won't find a more glamorous spot in Vegas than the Venetian. Some of the exclusive amenities that you will find within different suite styles include jetted tubs, wet bars, terraces, LCD TVs in bathrooms, dining areas, oversized baths, DVD players, and many more features. If you really want to splurge on your Vegas trip, stay at the Venetian. Upper-priced suites include such extras as upgraded bedding, private elevator access, unpacking services, access to the 4th floor pools and more. The hotel website offers a very detailed and user-friendly chart that outlines every detail of every suite at the Venetian.

Recently, the Venetian Casino opened a new addition to the resort - The Venetian Poker Room, which has already made quite a reputation for itself as being the best spot in town for a classy game of poker. You can also enjoy slots, table games, and the Race & Sports book at the Venetian Casino.

Dining ranges from inexpensive to high-priced and is available any time of the day or night. Fine dining restaurants at the Venetian include AquaKnox seafood with Chef Tom Moloney, B & B Ristorante Italian, Bouchon French, Canaletto Italian with Chef Gianpaolo Putzu, David Burke, Belmonico Steakhouse by Emeril, Postrio by Wolfgang Puck, two other Italian restaurants, and much more. If you are looking for a more casual meal, choose from the following: Canyon Ranch Café, serving healthy spa cuisine; Grand Lux Café, sponsored by the Cheesecake Factory; Riva Poolside, also by Wolfgang Puck; and a number of additional Italian eateries and bakeries, as well as Pan-Asian cuisine and Mexican cuisine.

The live entertainment is spectacular at the Venetian, featuring some of the biggest shows in Vegas. You can see acts such as David Spade Live, Phantom, Blue Man Group, and Wayne Brady. Hot spots at the Venetian include La Scena Lounge, V Bar, TAO Nightclub, Lavo Nightclub, Sugarcane Boutique Nightclub, and many others. TAO Beach is a popular nightclub where you will find celebrities like Jessica Simpson and Jay Z hanging out.

Other amenities at the Venetian include a wedding chapel, the Canyon Ranch SpaClub, the Grand Canal Shoppes, Madame Tussauds wax museum, a five-acre rooftop deck with pool, Gondola Rides, and more.

Overall, the Venetian is extremely large; in fact, some people feel it is too large and too extravagant. Because it is connected to the Convention Center, and it is a higher-quality establishment all around, the crowd seems a bit stuffier than it does at other hotels on the Strip. Also, the meals are priced a bit higher, so try eating around - don't spend your entire meal budget at the Venetian. That being said, don't be mistaken - the Venetian is by all means the very nicest property you will find on the Las Vegas Strip.
