The Mirage Hotel & Casino is located on 100 acres of tropical setting, complete with waterfalls, palm trees, and lagoons. The 30-story tri-tower hotel houses 2,763 rooms, most of which were recently updated in August 2008. Prior to the update, the rooms were not bad to begin with. Now they are even better with more affordable rates. You can get an email coupon from the hotel just by signing the guestbook on the hotel’s website, which is often lower than some of the other Mirage offers out there. Sometimes you can get a rate as low as $70 per night this way. Also, not only have the rooms been redone, so has the famous erupting volcano that sits in front of the hotel. This is a show you don’t want to miss.

The Mirage Hotel holds the honors of the AAA Four Diamond Award and the rooms and suites at the Mirage are simply top-notch, first-class. All rooms have been ergonomically redesigned to promote relaxation and comfort, no matter what your purpose in Vegas is. Whites, woods, reds, and purples make for a cozy and posh setting. "Remixed" rooms include Sealy Posturepedic pillow-top mattresses, as well as 42" LCD TVs, iPod docking stations, and cordless phones. Suites at the Mirage are more elegant in design, as they have not been remodeled recently, but they still present an air of class and distinction. Staying in a suite at the Mirage will truly make you feel like royalty and rock star. Suites feature different amenities ranging from whirlpool tubs, illuminated walk-in closets, automatic draperies, and more. The $20 tip trick at the front desk has been reported to work at the Mirage, so give it a try!

The Mirage Casino is full of action of all limits 24/7. From high-limit slots to table games and poker, the Mirage has it all. Because the Mirage is owned by MGM, the Quick Silver and High Roller Link progressives are available exclusively here and at other MGM casinos. Scheduled poker tournaments run throughout the week, as do satellite events for larger tournaments and sit & go events.
