Hottest Vegas Nightclubs

Hottest Vegas Nightclubs

Las Vegas is teeming with nightclubs, all of which like to promote themselves as the hottest nightclubs in Sin City. While they all have their individual charms (if you can call it that), they obviously can’t all be the best clubs in Vegas. The term ‘hottest’ should apply to the most wild, boisterous and energy-pumping clubs in the city, and that’s exactly what you’ll find in the list below.

LAVO at the Palazzo

High above the Palazzo Hotel and Casino is one of the newer nightclubs in Vegas called the LAVO. It offers a fine Italian dining restaurant on one floor and an energy-packed nightclub above with elaborate lighting and a vast dance floor. A spacious lounge area is provided for comfortable seating, and a large patio to party the night away while overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. LAVO has quickly become a hotspot for after-hours clubbers, and celebrity appearances are quite common. It’s been deemed the “Best new patio experience on the Strip” by Las Vegas Review Journal, as well as “Vegas’ new Hotspot” by People Magazine.

Playboy Club

Situated on the 52nd floor of the Fantasy Tower within the Palms Hotel and Casino is one of the hottest nightclubs in town, the Playboy Club. The nightclub has everything, from floor-to-ceiling windows and leather sofas to the intimate dance floor where fist-pumping hip-hop DJs run the show till the early morning hours. It also offers pool tables, blackjack and roulette tables and an escalator linked directly to the boutique-style Moon Nightclub on the 53rd floor.

Studio 54 at the MGM Grand

Though not quite the original Studio 54 we’ve all heard outrageous stories about over the years, the MGM Grand has replicated the establishment and, for the most part, the experience as well, in its very own Studio 54 Nightclub. It’ not quite so hard to get into as the club of yesteryear, though proper, urbane attire is required along with a cover charge of $30 Wed and Thur., $40 on Tue, Fri and Sat. The atmosphere is charged with electricity as resident DJs bring down the house and keep the dance floor jamming at all hours of the night with anything from disco to hip-hop. Hit Studio 54 on a Friday for additional entertainment features that include wall climbers, aerial dancers and more.

Haze at the Aria

Appropriately named, the Haze Nightclub located high up in the Aria Hotel and Casino is a mecca for Vegas clubbers, ranging from locals to the occasional A-list celebs. As such, it doesn’t come with a cheap price tag. Front-of-the-line admission alone will set the ladies back $30, the gents $50. VIP packages are extravagant in quality and price, ranging from about $1,100 to $2,200. If you’re looking for a crazy time in Vegas, though, Haze is definitely one of the hottest nightclubs in town.

KRAVE (Alternative)

Anyone looking for an alternative nightclub in Vegas, look no further. KRAVE is a 17,000sf establishment that is equally partitioned between the KRAVE Nightclub, KRAVE Lounge and HARMON Theatre. The venue offers all forms of entertainment, from the heat-wave dance floor and scantily clad, rock-hard male bodies, to the theatre, where performers have include dozens of A-list celebs from the likes of Sir Elton John and Bette Midler to Lady Gaga and Rupaul. Las Vegas Citylife called KRAVE the “best nightclub” and “best after-hours club” in Vegas.

Marquee at the Cosmopolitan

The Marquee has quickly become one of the hottest nightclubs in Vegas, which explains the wait of up to 3 hours and minimum $20 cover charge (depending on the day and time). The sleek artistic fabrication, elaborate lighting and variable music schemes (mostly hip-hop/house music) from multiple resident DJs were all designed to attract a young, lively crowd, and it worked! Located within the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino on the Strip, upscale attire is required to get in; open Friday-Monday till 5am with special events every Monday.

XS Nightclub at Wynn

Ranked as one of the hottest nightclubs in Vegas for bachelors, the XS—inside Wynn Hotel and Casino’s Encore Tower—was probably named for its cost of construction. The most expensive club yet built in Vegas, Wynn Hotel and Casino shelled out $100 million in elaborate décor, complex lighting and intense acoustics. The nightclub features indoor and outdoor areas. Inside guests enjoy a blue/gold palace theme and wild dance floor, while the outdoor section, nearly twice as large, includes a pool and numerous cabanas with bottle service. XS is open daily from 10pm-4am, $20 cover charge for the ladies, $30 for men; fashionable attire firmly enforced.
