Downtown Hotels

Downtown Hotels

There is a vast selection of downtown hotels in Las Vegas spanning each side of Fremont Street and beyond. Whether looking for a clear view overlooking the Fremont Street Experience, or just a hotel to rest up after a long nights venture in Sin City, the following list will guide visitors to the perfect destination.

Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino – Fremont Street

Perhaps the most famous of all downtown Vegas hotels, the Golden Nugget is a step above the competition. Even the most basic rooms are decadent suites with lavish furnishings and a rich, warm atmosphere. Rooms feature a full range of amenities that include LCD TV, work station, fine bath products and plush robes. Upgrading gives guests complimentary WiFi internet, safety deposit box, valet parking, laundry and water bottle service, as well as access to sight-seeing tours, tennis courts and golfing. Parties are not allowed in Golden Nugget’s suites.

Main Street Station Hotel – Main Street

To avoid much of the all-night noise of Fremont Street, the Main Street Station Hotel is a premium choice. Situated in the northwest corner of downtown, the rooms are extremely comfortable and in very easy walking distance (two blocks) from the Fremont Experience. The overall value is about the best to be found for such well adorned rooms, usually well under $100 per night outside of holidays.

Gold Spike Hotel and Casino – Fremont Street

On the southeastern end of downtown Vegas’ Fremont Street is a great option for budget hotel shoppers who want to stay very close to the action. The rooms are very sleek and clean, and many of them provide quick access to the Oasis Pool and cabanas. Gold spike’s signature “18 Karat” kings and double queens are well equipped and very comfortable with all basic amenities. The Oasis Pool King and Double Queens are about the same, but located on the pool side of the hotel.

Fremont Hotel and Casino – Fremont Street

Guests will find themselves right into the thick of the electrifying entertainment of the Freemont Experience with a deluxe room or suite at the Fremont. With all 447 rooms recently renovated, there is no need to book a suite to get the best comfort the hotel has to offer, but booking in advance is highly recommended for a street-view room. Deluxe rooms offer the best value with rates under $50 during the week, around $100 on weekends (higher on holidays), but immaculate suites can be reserved if you call ahead. Price-wise, the more suites there are open, the cheaper the cost will be. Signing up for a B-Connected Membership beforehand will present discounts on all rates in and around the hotel and casino.

Four Queens Hotel & Casino – Fremont Street

For the ultimate Las Vegas experience, guests can head to one of the classiest hotels on Fremont Street, the Four Queens, providing instant access to the Fremont Street Experience, as well as all of the desirable gambling opportunities and some excellent dining choices and bars within. Opulent suites are also available in a range of sizes, outfitted with luxury bedding, full media entertainment and lots of extras. Suites should be booked well in advanced.

Las Vegas Club Hotel & Casino – Fremont Street

Great food, massive casino, awesome shows, comfortable rooms; the Las Vegas Club Hotel & Casino has it all, plus it’s right in the heart of downtown Vegas on Fremont Street. The rooms are all standard king and double queens. It’s not the lap of luxury, but it offers instant access to all downtown has to offer, and the room rates are excellent compared to most other downtown Vegas hotels. The rooms are little more than a stopping/resting station for guests with all the basic amenities. Rates range from $16 to about $100, depending on the date. The best deals come with advanced booking.

Fitzgeralds Casino & Hotel – Fremont Street

The 34-story Fitzgeralds Casino and Hotel is sleek and opulent inside and out, until you get to the guest rooms. They are just basic rooms, single king or double queen, meant more for sleeping and bathing than anything else. They are spacious and comfortable enough, and perfect if you plan to spend the majority of your time in the casino or experiencing the wonders of Fremont Street.
